INFORMATION CONCERNING ELECTRODE HOLDERS

Electric shock can kill. Do not touch electrode or electrically hot screws or metal parts of holder with bare skin or wet clothing. Always use dry welding gloves. Do not weld when wet. Inspect before using. Turn power to welder off before installing or replacing holder.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Turn power to welder off.
2. Remove handle mounting screw and slide handle off holder; place handle over electrode cable.
3. If electrode cable does not have a terminal on it, remove insulation from electrode cable (~25mm) from end.
4. Remove clamping plate from clamping screw. Save clamping plate.
5. If electrode cable has a terminal attached, place terminal over cable connecting screw. Otherwise place bare end of electrode cable into holder with cable strands divided equally on both sides of clamp connecting screw.
6. Tighten cable connecting screw securely into clamp so clamp holds cable in place.
7. Slide the handle into position and secure with handle mounting screw.
8. Inspect holder. Insulation should be tight. Screws and metal parts should be recessed so they cannot be touched. Check all connections before each use. Use welding cable compliant to the European Norms and with section as below indicated. Use electrode dimensions as below indicated.

DO NOT OPERATE AT a higher amperage than what reported on the holder. This clamp conforms the Standard EN60974-11.
